A Letter To God (I)

My Father,

Who Art in Heaven.

    Dear Sir, 

Thank You

          Hallowed be thy name, thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. 

          Father, it is with joy in my heart that I write to You. You have been the best Father one can ever have. Even before I was formed in the womb, You knew me. Before I could distinguish my left from my right, You were right there for me. Now that I know the difference between good and bad, You never forsook me. For this and more, I say, Thank You!

          Should I begin to mention how You miraculously come through for me?? Or how You miraculously answer some prayers I never opened my mouth to speak... You see my heart, and You know my thoughts. You give me what I need, not what I want; because I know I don't always know what I need for myself. As a good Father that You are, You always take care of it. For this and more, I say, “Thank You!"

          It's the start of a new beginning for me, as another year will be added to my year this month. I cannot imagine the joy in Your heart relating to that fact that Your daughter will be a year older doing Your will, not hers. Your daughter will be a year older in living life just to please You. It'd do me a lot of good to come over to You now. However, I believe You still kept me here for a purpose, which I am living to fulfill. For this and more, I say Thank You!

          I didn't write this letter to ask for anything. You've done more than enough, and You're even able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that I ask or think. I am rest assured You'll do more. I'm just writing this letter to You, to say Thank You!

          I promise I'd always live to fulfill Your will. I promise not to waste Your investment in my life. I promise to do Your will till my last breath. I believe You'll grant me strength to do this and more. Once again, for the privilege to be called according to Your purpose, for the love You showered on me, and for sending my big Bro, Jesus, to pay for my sins, Thank You!
